IT Service Manager

Traits

• Ability to guide, direct, and coordinate multiple personnel in a company.
• Excellent knowledge of the industry and trends impacting the business.
• Have outstanding communication and prioritization skills and be able to effectively take direction from management.

Duties

• To meet the service needs of the company’s customers.
• To achieve the budgeted productivity and operating income for the IT Division.
• To provide division strategic planning, training and direction.
• Enforce policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Prescribes desirable formats for system, technical, and user documentation based on standards and best practices.
• Works with Project Managers to ensure that projects and activities meet target dates and project plans. Escalates issues to CTO, Sales or President as necessary.
• Participates with CEO and/or Managers in strategic planning activities.

Experience (required)

• At least two years experience managing teams, preferably in computer service and repair, database design, and networking.
  

Experience (desired)

• At least three years experience in an MSP environment
• At least two years experience as a manager
