JOB DESCRIPTION

Brockwell Technologies, Inc. (BTI) is seeking an Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) to support our customer in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

The candidate will develop and manage the process of verifying that system and software products operate and comply with requirements and/or design. Coordinate test process including test requirements, planning, execution, and reporting. Provide technical expertise in testing and product knowledge, write test procedures and develop test plans. Configure necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing, and provide technical know-how on particular products, operating systems and specialized environments. Perform evaluations of various software related products and covers assessments of software products through all phases of the development life cycle, including software specifications, design verification, coding, testing and results data validation. Support customer needs and travels as required. Utilize organizational skills and possesses the ability to work well with others. Exercise strong written and oral communication skills, and multi-tasks with strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills.

• Interface Requirements Specification (IRS)
• Interface Control Document (ICD)
• Interface Design Description (IDD)
• System/Subsystem Design Documentation (SSDD)
• Software Design Description (SDD)
• Software Change Request (SCR) and Issue Tracking Database access or export
• Software Design Description, Software Development Plan (SDP)
• System Software Architecture Design Document (SSADD)

Minimum Experience

• 5+ years of experience with a Master's Degree
• 7+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree
• 11+ years of experience with a High School Diploma

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in MDA, PEO Missile and Space, and/or Sensor Model Accreditation preferred.

Education/Certifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or relevant technical field

Security Clearance

• This position requires an active DoD Secret Security Clearance government security clearance as a condition for placement and continued employment. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.
