Recreation Assistant - Jellystone Park at Larkspur

As our Recreation Assistant, you will help coordinate a variety of recreational activities for the resort.

This is a seasonal position that may require flexible scheduling availability.

Job Requirements:

• Coordinate and attend all activities such as picnics, sporting events, dances, and dinners
• Set up and clean up after events
• Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests
• Help maintain a tracking sheet to monitor attendance for each activity
• Assist with training Activity department team members and volunteers
• Assist with distributing the weekly newsletter to resort guests
• Ensure all equipment and supplies are kept in good condition
• Help with various waterpark duties such as watching waterslides, directing guests, reporting any safety concerns

Job Qualifications:

• Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to work well independently as well as on a team

The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors.
