Embrace the role of Heavy Packer on our second shift, from 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM, you will be responsible for packing heavy and bulky items, ensuring they are ready for shipment and meet all safety and quality standards. Responsibilities
- Efficiently pack heavy items, including but not limited to industrial products and materials, ensuring they are securely prepared for transportation.
- Operate various packing machinery and tools necessary for handling heavy goods, such as pallet jacks and shrink wrap machines.
- Conduct quality checks on packaged items to ensure they meet shipping standards and are free of damage.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize packing processes and maintain a smooth workflow on the production floor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packing area to uphold safety and efficiency standards.
- Follow all company guidelines and safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Capable of lifting and moving heavy items consistently, with objects often weighing 50 lbs or more.
- Experience with packing and handling heavy materials is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with coworkers.
- Commitment to maintaining a punctual and reliable attendance record.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed, particularly during peak production periods.
