Job Description
The Bridge is seeking a Housing Clerk to join our team and provide administrative support to our Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) and Children's Program. Reporting to the CHIP Director, the Housing Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of various program duties and activities.
This individual will assist in scheduling and facilitating Annual Service Plans with staff and participants. Coordinate and present Housing Program Orientation in individual or group settings to educate and inform participants entering the PSH program of program staff and participant responsibilities. Provide the Coordinator assistance with entering DA/EPPA in Coordinated Access and track the HUD follow up forms and annual family service plans.
In addition, the Housing Clerk will assist CHIP with organizing, scheduling and coordinating training for staff development and taking minutes. Provide support with family intake assessments. Aid in updating and maintaining policies and procedures, ensuring all documentation on the server is current. Be responsible for updating the participant staffing spreadsheet and entering follow-up and submit copies to the multidisciplinary team. Support the creation of spreadsheets and other documents to streamline the efficiency and productivity of staff.
Provide Housing Manager assistance with mail outs and check delivery. Responsible for oversight of support group calendar for CoC-PSH and Children’s Department and distribute to the agency departments and oversee the transportation schedule. Provide crisis intervention services by staffing 24-hotline on an as-needed basis. Cover front desk in the am and pm to ensure safety of staff, children in the building.

- Full Time/Non-Exempt: 36-hours a week
- Schedule: Primarily Monday through Friday with a rotating Saturday once a month.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- A High School Diploma/GED required.
- Must have a working knowledge of MS Office suite of programs, specifically MS Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.
- Must have own reliable transportation
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, not required.
- Must pass criminal background investigation check
- Must pass drug screen
- Must provide and maintain current TX Driver’s License
- Must provide and maintain clean driving record and annually update driving record
- Must provide and maintain current auto liability insurance
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
- Must be able to lift/carry (40) lbs, and ascend/descend stairs in emergency shelter setting.
