Summary:
This position requires the employee to perform a wide variety of field office support functions including, but not limited to, the following: weighing and ticketing trucks, preparing daily load summaries, managing inventory, accepting payment, basic typing and word processing, filing, answering calls, light bookkeeping, courier duties, customer relations, etc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Must be able to manage a variety of projects and tasks at the same time
  • Must have the ability to work productively in a fast- paced environment
  • Will keep time and material records.
  • Develop knowledge of aggregate sizes and classifications.
  • Must have knowledge of weight requirements of loads leaving the pit.
  • Will provide excellent customer service to customers and vendors
  • Will adhere to company policy regarding inventory and payment collection.
  • Will travel from interstate highway to rural dirt roads from various locations.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required. One (1) year related experience is preferred.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft operating systems.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Ability to work various shifts (days, nights, swings)
Valid Driver License - Must be able to travel for extended periods to locations in Mississippi
Must be detail oriented, highly organized and have the ability to work well with limited direction and supervison.
