Location: Phoenix, AZ
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Madden Industrial Craftsmen, a premier staffing agency, is currently seeking a Scale Operator for a leading recycling company in Phoenix, AZ. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented and comfortable with computer-based systems in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Job Summary:
The Scale Operator will be responsible for operating a computer-supported commercial truck scale using RIMAS Scale Software. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate recording of incoming and outgoing loads while maintaining basic office and clerical functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate commercial truck scale using RIMAS software

  • Accurately record truck weights, load details, and transaction information

  • Communicate effectively with truck drivers and onsite personnel

  • Perform general clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and answering phones

  • Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with site procedures

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of Scale Operator experience preffered.

  • 1–2 years of forklift experience required (sit-down forklift preferred).

  • Previous experience with RIMAS software preferred but not required.

  • Strong computer skills and accurate data entry capability.

  • Ability to follow established procedures with high attention to detail.

  • Prior experience in a recycling, industrial, or manufacturing setting is a plus.

  • Comfortable working both in an office and yard/warehouse environment.
