Job Description
We seek a skilled Data Warehouse Lead with expertise in Oracle Cloud, Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to join our team for a long-term project. This on-site position requires your presence at the client site in Sacramento, California.
As a Data Warehouse Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development and implementation of data warehouse solutions leveraging Oracle Cloud, Oracle ADW, and ODI. Your expertise in these technologies and strong leadership skills will enable you to guide and mentor a team of data engineers in designing, building, and maintaining a robust and scalable data warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Led and managed a team of data engineers in designing, developing, and implementing data warehouse solutions using Oracle Cloud, Oracle ADW, and ODI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, business users, and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into data warehouse design and implementation plans.
• Architect and optimize data warehouse structures, ensuring performance, scalability, and data integrity.
• Develop and implement data integration strategies using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), ensuring efficient and accurate data movement between various source systems and the data warehouse.
• Define and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data warehouse performance issues, recommending continuous improvement.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the data engineering team, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement data security and privacy measures in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data warehousing, Oracle Cloud, and related technologies, incorporating them into the data warehouse design and implementation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in data warehousing, with expertise in Oracle Cloud, Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
• Proven experience leading data warehousing projects, including designing and implementing scalable and high-performance data warehouse solutions.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience working with Oracle Cloud technologies, including ADW, Oracle Database, and Oracle Analytics Cloud.
• Proficient in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) for data integration and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with data governance principles and practices, including data quality management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex data warehouse issues.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and lead a team.
• Oracle certifications related to data warehousing and Oracle Cloud (e.g., Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse Specialist) are preferred.
• Ability and willingness to work on-site at the client site in Sacramento, California.
