Quality Manager Description

Our client in the machining sector, specializing in aerospace, defense, and commercial industries, is seeking a Quality Manager to join their team in Indianapolis, IN. This role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing quality standards for aerospace specifications, ensuring the company adheres to AS9100 and AS9145 standards. Quality Manager Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance Quality Management System for continuous improvement
• Lead a team of five quality engineers
• Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with GMP standards
• Assist quoting team to ensure products meet requirements
• Align schedules with workload to ensure efficiency
• Draft and update company procedures
• Ensure adherence to aerospace, nuclear, and naval customer specifications
• Act as primary contact for customer quality reviews

Quality Manager Qualifications

• 6+ years of quality experience required
• Manufacturing experience required
• Familiarity with machining processes and measurements required
• Deep familiarity with AS9100 specification required
• Effective communication skills required
