The Operations Associate reports to our Operations Manager and works very closely with three other Operations Associates.

Our operations team supports our 8 wealth management teams by managing our investment reporting, billing and portfolio rebalancing systems, delivering quarterly investment performance reports and management fee invoices, answering questions on investment performance, running ad hoc reports for teams, and working with other back-office teams to support their functions.

This position is located in South Lake Union. We have a flexible hybrid work environment (in office Mondays and Wednesdays).

Responsibilities will include:

  • Reconcile firm-wide trades and maintain security database.
  • Oversee daily vendor downloads and reconciliation of custodian files.
  • Set up new clients and accounts in Tamarac.
  • Create performance reporting and management fee invoices.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert regarding reporting, billing, and trading systems, including:
    • Training new and existing users, setting up new clients and accounts, and creating custom reports.
    • Field questions regarding reporting and CRM systems, providing ad hoc reporting and data, and troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Assist in resolution of trade errors.
  • Collaborate with Investment Strategy Group and new teams after mergers to optimize trading practices using Tamarac Trading.


  • 2+ years of experience in the wealth management industry - preferably in portfolio accounting/performance analysis, but investment research/analysis experience will be considered as well
  • Proficiency with Tamarac Reporting and Trading, Salesforce CRM, Morningstar, Bloomberg, and/or similar systems is preferred
  • A Bachelor's degree (preferably in a finance or math-related field)
  • The ability to read Capital Account Statements and other notices and extract and interpret pertinent data for processing
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including experience using Excel to manipulate and process data (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)
  • Outstanding research, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail orientation, and ability to prioritize effectively
  • Series 7, 63, and/or 65 licenses are a plus
  • CIPM (Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement) is a plus

In terms of pay expectations, we assess each candidate individually based on their experience and qualifications and offer competitive compensation that reflects the value they bring to the team. Base pay typically starts between $75k - $100k plus an annual bonus and a generous benefits package.
