We are looking for a Process Engineer possessing a strong ability to ensure successful project execution by taking technical engineering accountability for project deliverables. If you have a proven track record in process engineering design and are interested in gaining exposure in the energy transition sector (LNG, NGL, decarbonization, H2, ammonia, etc.) than this may be the right opportunity for you.  This position is critical to our success and will require a true expert in this space.


This role will report to the Process Engineering Manager and will be a pivotal part of the foundation of our growing team.

 

What You Will Do

  • Utilize advanced technical knowledge to perform engineering assignments including solving complex problems and project responsibilities with minimal guidance and direction
  • Highly competent to perform all process engineering functions including deliverables such as feasibility and optimization studies, process simulations and heat and material balances, process equipment sizing, process data for instrument and mechanical data sheets, hydraulic piping line sizing and other philosophies and reports; In addition, highly competent to perform relief calculations and flare network modeling
  • Able to check Engineering calculations as well as check drawings in accordance with industry codes and standards; Assign tasks to and supervise the work of less senior personnel
  • Interface with other engineering disciplines and design team to ensure quality of work and consistent technical content is maintained for all design documents/data throughout the project
  • Produce engineering reports and technical notes

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • We are an engineering and EPC contractor- a career dedicated to engineering contracting and EPC project execution is required to be successful
  • 5+ years related offshore and onshore upstream, midstream with an engineering contractor (required)
  • Bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or related field (required)
  • Proven ability and interest in generating, checking and approving core engineering deliverables described above in a timely / professional manner (required)
  • Experience developing and owning engineering reports, creating and documenting, engineering calculations, summary reports and PowerPoint slide decks (required)
  • A proven ability to guide, coach and support the development of senior-level through graduate-level process engineers (required)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (required)
  • Ability to interact effectively with vendors and clients (approximately 90% of your work involves internal interaction - 10% external)
  • International experience - we execute work across the globe (beneficial)
  • Field experience including construction, commissioning, start-up, and operational support (beneficial)

Schedule:

Monday to Friday (though making self-available after hours when necessary)
