We're currently seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Community Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our newest lease up community in Midlothian, Virginia


As an Assistant Community Manager, you will work closely with the Community Manager to oversee leasing, resident relations, and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the community. Requirements:
  • Leasing Support: Assist with leasing efforts by conducting property tours, processing lease applications, and assisting with lease signings. Respond to leasing inquiries and follow up with prospective residents in a timely manner.
  • Resident Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with residents through regular communication, addressing inquiries and concerns, and ensuring timely resolution of maintenance issues.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform various administrative tasks including processing rental payments, monitoring delinquency, maintaining resident files, preparing leasing reports, and managing correspondence.
  • Marketing Assistance: Support marketing efforts by contributing ideas for promotional activities, assisting with social media campaigns, and updating online listings and advertisements.
  • Financial Management: Assist with budget preparation and monitoring expenses to ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines. Collect and deposit rental payments and fees accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to fair housing, leasing, and property management.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years experience as an Assistant Property Manager in Multifamily industry.
  • Lease up experience preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (ie., Yardi, Knock CRM, Soci).
  • Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
