Business Operations & Supply Chain Intern

Are you a business management or supply chain major? Consider our Business & Supply Chain internship. You will learn about the day to day operations. The importance of employee management and engagement and how that impacts the overall enterprise. You will be actively working with driver managers, planners and support areas. This will provide you exposure to a piece of the supply change and how our driver managers and planners manage their piece of the business.

What skills will you learn?

• Grow and build relationships with professional drivers
• Work in a team setting to find creative solutions to operational challenges with the shipper and receiver
• Maintain schedules and order dispatching for drivers
• Cross train on a variety of fleets to maximize exposure to different regions and different freight lanes.
• Audit drivers pay requests and manage missing bills of lading to ensure the accounting team can process billing to the customer.
• Assist in coaching drivers to develop your skills in coaching and relationship building
• Use your attention to detail and follow through to ensure our team is successfully meeting on time delivery.
• Navigate through multiple systems to keep operations running smoothly.
