Job Description

A Metal manufacturing company in the city of Orange, CA is hiring for a morning and swing shift Material Handler. Must be able to offload and load boxes from trucks, willing to pack products and material, use a forklift (willing to train and in-house on the forklift) This is a temp to hire position with a lot of overtime available. Must use steel toe boots.

Job Details:

Payrate: $16.50-$17.50/HR

Dayshift:

Monday thru Thursday 4am – 2pm (10 hrs)
Friday 4am-12p (8 hrs)
Saturday (occasional depending on business) 4am-10am (6 hrs)

Swing shift:

Monday thru Thursday 2pm – 12am (10 hrs)
Friday 12pm – 8pm (8 hrs)
Saturday (occasional depending on business) 5am-11am (6 hrs)
Friday 4am-12p (8 hrs)
Saturday (occasional depending on business) 4am-10am (6 hrs)

Job Duties/Requirements:

Will load trucks using a forklift (sit down)
Pack materials.
Build pallets to order, palletizing shrink wrapping.
Lifting requirements of 50lbs.
Must be on your feet for majority of the shift.
Must be Ok with overtime, can range from 10-hour shifts and Saturdays.
Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
Warehouse experience, preferably in manufacturing or shipping/receiving.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $17.50 per hour
