How will this role have an impact?

The Associate of Service Development, is a key role focused on process improvement and initiatives critical to the achievement of both near and long term outcomes and results for the Production Department and HCS Operations teams overall.

The key responsibilities for this role including:
  1. Day to day partnership with Delivery Operations and Product teams on identification of issues/defects, development of roadmaps and project management / support in deployment of new processes / technical features
  2. Root cause analysis, identification of potential solutions and steps needed to implement and measure impact of improvements
  3. Maintain process maps, SOPs and documentation related to relevant current state operations and associated product/technology

This role is integral in the organization's performance focused culture and building trust across diverse teams and stakeholders to ensure delivery to meet member/patient, client and company expectations.

The Associate will serve as a subject matter expert and key collaborator to Service Development stakeholders (Delivery Ops, Product, Analytics etc.) and carry out the daily execution for assigned process improvement initiatives and projects. Reporting to the Senior Director of Service Development this role is ideal for high-performing candidates looking to grow their process design/improvement, analytical and problem solving skills, cross-functional collaboration, storytelling, and business acumen.

What will you do?
  • Work with stakeholders across the company to execute process changes required to optimize performance
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all critical processes, associated product/technology and cross-functional organizing approach
  • Perform issue/defect tracking, research/analysis on root cause, identification of potential solutions with owners and participate in obtaining buy-in, prioritization and execution of solutions once agreed upon
  • Contribute to the "Operations" roadmap for Production teams and participate in quarterly and annual planning processes
  • Ensure exceptional working relationships with key stakeholders across Operations and Product
  • Grow and develop your own analytical and process improvement skill sets
  • Engage in a high-performance culture of two-way communications
  • Manage time and projects effectively
  • Ensure execution and compliance with Signify Health's strategic initiatives
  • Respond well to coaching and supervision
  • Provide support to the Operations Leadership team as requested
  • Actively demonstrate teamwork at all times


We are looking for someone with:

  • Proven ability to execute against cross functional and operational initiatives or multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in a large, complex and healthcare / healthcare technology organization
  • Prior performance improvement or project management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to recognize, evaluate and solve complex problems
  • Fluently speak, read, and write English
  • Understanding of key metrics and best practices for reporting / metric development
  • Proven ability to prioritize with a team and advocate for priorities with other teams
  • Advanced skills in MS Office; specifically MS Excel and MS Word. Adept with technology
  • Visible, results oriented and nimble performer with a reputation of doing what it takes to get the job done while ensuring strong interpersonal relationships; puts the interests of the organization ahead of personal interests
  • Ability to balance strong business capabilities and high business ethics with a commitment to clinical and service excellence
  • Ability to express and implement concepts and ideas, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to recognize the need for proactive change; adapts to and motivates others to adopt values, strategies, goals and plans in response to changing business conditions.
  • Demonstrates competency in technology applications related to business and clinical functions and in process improvement methodologies.
Education/Licensing Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Management or related field


The base salary hiring range for this position is $64,500 - $110,400. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.
