Position Summary:

The Director of Client Implementation is responsible for understanding client implementation requirements, design and build/tweak systems per client need. The role is also responsible for leading a team, project management and support. This role reports to the Senior Vice President of Specialty Services.

The Implementation Director oversees and coordinates the daily operations of the implementation team, focused on developing extraordinary relationships with our partner clinics and hospitals to facilitate the successful rollout of Access TeleCare telemedicine programs. A successful applicant will be a highly organized clinically trained individual, with outstanding leadership and organizational skills, who is a competent and agile collaborator and skilled cross-functional communicator. The Implementation Director develops and implements processes and department objectives in an effective and innovative fashion, working closely with support, credentialing, and clinical teams.


Description of Duties/Essential Functions:

  • Provide thought leadership in the areas of strategy and implementation
  • Provide oversight and direction for the implementation team
  • Design and implement departmental objectives and processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams including support, credentialing, clinical and operational leaders within the organization.
  • Develop and maintain extraordinary relationships with new partners to ensure the successful rollout of clinical and technology programs
  • Communicates the status and forecasting of these projects to the internal clients through a variety of methods including project status reports
  • Collaborate with our partners to understand their current processes, goals, and priorities to develop an effective program rollout strategy aimed at meeting target launch dates.
  • Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, including partner champions and project team members in a timely and consistent manner
  • Identify any risks or issues which may impact launch timelines early in the implementation process
  • Work with the key stakeholders to determine mitigation plans
  • Lead onsite and offsite meetings and training events
  • Work collaboratively with our physician and clinical leaders to develop program scope and evaluate implementation processes
  • Work closely with our support, credentialing, and clinical teams to ensure that our partners, and our physicians, are getting the support they need for a successful launch
  • Design internal processes that will ensure the scalability of our business


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Supervises the Implementation Manager team
  • Facilitates weekly implementation reviews with key stakeholders
  • Responsible for monthly data for board meeting reports including launch volume, service line metrics and Implementation NPS score

Education and/or Experience:

  • College degree in a healthcare field required
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with customer facing project management
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience leading or managing teams
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and quality standards
  • Healthcare Industry background
  • Formal training in project management preferred
  • PMP Certified preferred but not mandatory

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrate and promote a positive team-oriented environment to achieve established outcomes.
  • Organize and allocate the right resources for task achievement.
  • Develop and implement practices and procedures for improvement.
  • Display solid working knowledge of standard computer applications including Microsoft Office, Salesforce (preferred), communication and collaboration tools, and various operating systems.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external customers.
  • Facilitate internal and external meetings.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders to achieve target goals.
  • Generate project milestones for partners and executives.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with attention to detail.
  • Experience in performance and operations management.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, Zoom, Slack, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Word, CRM, Oasis, and others as needed

Work Environment:

  • Remote based environment
  • Extended periods of time looking at computer monitor
  • Repetitive use of hands/fingers across keyboard
  • High growth fast paced organization.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
