Job Description

Syndeo Staffing is looking for a temp-to-hire Medical Assistant that is bilingual in Spanish preferred to join our client's team! The Medical Assistant plays a vital role since they’re the first to interact with patients. General nursing duties will need to be performed along with providing the best for our patients in a fast-paced utmost professional atmosphere.

This position is based in Wichita, KS with some travel to Newton Tuesday’s will be required.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

· Assisting physician/provider inpatient procedures and care

· Room patients, obtain vitals, patient history and reason for seeking care

· Cleaning and restocking of all patient rooms and tools

· Pack and restock clinic travel bags with necessary paperwork and supplies

· Cross-train in front desk duties (answering phones, scheduling appointments, etc)

· Assist provider with patient education pertaining to their ongoing health care

· Maintain patient records confidentially

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

· Previous Medical Assistant Experience preferred

· High School diploma/GED

Schedule:

· Mon, Weds, Thurs (Wichita): 8:00-5:00

· Tues (Newton): 8-2:30

· Friday (Wichita): 8-3:30

Pay Rate:

· $12/hour
