This is a part time position and shifts may vary depending on booked parties. Our banquets department is and will be very busy through the spring and summer. Weekend availability required. This is a great position for someone looking to work part time and add a great extra income in a fun and friendly work environment.

A day in the life:
As a Banquets Bartender you will be responsible for setting up and stocking the bar. Mixing cocktails, pouring beer and wine. Cashing out guests when required. Monitoring and regulating alcohol consumption of guests. Providing exceptional hospitality. You will also assist catering staff in the set up and breakdown of events as is necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' high-volume catering bartending and server roles
- A warm, friendly, and engaging personality.
- Must have a basic knowledge of catering dining room service procedures and functions.
- Have a working knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, and common drinks.
- Possess basic math skills, cash handling procedures, and knowledge of Point-of-Sale system.
- Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
- Must be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to safely lift and easily maneuver tables and other catering equiptment frequently weighing up to 40 to 50 pounds.
Essential JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take beverage orders from guests and servers.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the restaurant's standard drink recipes.
- Record drink orders accurately and immediately input order into the point of sales system.
- Accept guest payment, process credit card charges, and make change (if applicable).
- Prepare garnishes for drinks and keep pars maintained.
- Oversee and supervise garnish implementation.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, and storage areas.
- Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.
