Lead Staff Accountant and Financial Analyst
Up to $85,000 to start plus full benefits
As Lead Staff Accountant and Financial Analyst, you will:
- Report to the Director of Corporate Services
- Plan, manage and control financial activities
- Administer day-to-day accounting activities
- Perform cash management functions
- Perform inventory accounting and cost accounting functions
- Contribute to forecasting and budgeting processes
- Facilitate month end close and year end close processes
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and supporting analysis and supporting analysis
- Seek out cost reduction opportunities and efficiencies wherever possible
- Collaborate with third-party accounting firms
- Run routine, special and ad hoc reports
- Conduct routine, special and ad hoc analysis
- Handle special projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
An ideal candidate profile will include:
- At least 5 years of Accounting and/or Staff Accountant experience
With:
- Financial Analysis experience
- Cost Accounting experience
- Related experience from a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher
