MEDICAL RECORDS COORDINATOR

Our company was founded in 2005 and we are dedicated to providing excellent care to the Central Florida geriatric population. We are a large practice with over 30 providers that service the Skilled Nursing Facility, Assisted Living Facilities and our homebound patient in the comfort of their homes in 14 counties. We are growing company and we seekinga highly motivated, organized individual to join our medical records team.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and complete patient medical records.
• Organize and file medical records according to established procedures.
• Scan and upload documents in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
• Retrieve medical records for authorized personnel upon request.
• Process patient admission and discharge paperwork.
• Respond to patient inquiries regarding their medical records while following HIPAA guidelines.
• Ensure patient confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA Guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Deliver medical records to the assigned facilities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical office setting or related field (preferred)
• Proficient in computer software including EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to travel to facilities
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have a valid Driver's License
