Dental Hygienist

Monday- Thursday - no weekends

Duties:

- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth

- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health education

- Administer local anesthesia as needed

- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)

- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software (Eaglesoft)

- Follow aseptic techniques to ensure infection control and patient safety

- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dental technology and techniques

Skills:

- Strong patient assessment skills to identify oral health issues and develop appropriate treatment plans

- Experience working with all demographics, providing gentle and compassionate care

- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft for recordkeeping and scheduling

- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques for dental diagnostics

- Ability to maintain strict aseptic technique to prevent cross-contamination

- Solid understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions

- Familiarity with medical coding for insurance billing purposes
