POSITION SUMMARY:

Directly supervise and coordinate activities of the hourly sales team members. In addition, will perform duties such as administrative support, handling of issues and other duties that assist in facilitating the overall performance of the sales team. Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Coach and develop direct reports.

• Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with sales team and document individual development plans.

• Provide sales team members with assistance in performing difficult or complicated duties.

• Monitor sales team performance to ensure daily focus and that goals are met; listen to calls and provide ongoing coaching to improve the overall sales methods and success of the account managers.

• Own recruiting, coaching, and performance monitoring of the sales team members.

• Train new salespeople to ensure success; train and ensure adherence to sales process.

• Manage day-to-day performance of all sales team members and assist SM with annual evaluations.

• Plan and prepare work schedules; assign associates to specific duties.

• Answer sales team members’ questions relative to pricing, quantity, policies, etc.

• Monitor effectiveness and suggest new ideas i.e. sales promotion activities, such as pre-books, p.m.'s etc.

• Ensure correct usage of CRM and other sales applications.

• Oversee the attendance of account managers and coordination of all requested time off (PTO, EIB, LOA), and the monitoring of overtime.

• Embody company culture and maintain a high sales associate engagement.

• Function as liaison between the account manager’s questions and other departments (i.e., procurement, compliance, credit collections) so that the account manager can focus on selling.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school): or Work Equivalent

Experience: One to three years previous supervisory sales experience is strongly preferred.

Skills: Must be knowledgeable with Microsoft Suite of products including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong interpersonal skills; exceptional written and verbal communication skills; familiarity with data analysis and reporting; positive and enthusiastic.
