POSITION TITLE: Project Manager

REPORTS TO: Chief Operating Officer

LOCATION: This position has been designated as one that can be performed remotely at the individual’s home or at the Corporate office in Tampa

As the Project Manager, you oversee projects from start to finish, defining scope, creating plans, and managing resources to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. You collaborate with stakeholders, track progress, and proactively address risks to keep projects on track. With clear communication and teamwork, you ensure project outcomes align with expectations and drive success in healthcare technology initiatives. What you will be doing

  • Managing all aspects of a project from beginning to end (planning, executing, monitoring, closure).
  • Working with sponsors and key stakeholders to develop project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Defining the responsibilities of all team members involved in the project, including project sponsors, stakeholders, project team, and vendors.
  • Creating a cohesive project plan and schedules that includes major milestones, tasks, key dependencies, responsible owners, start- and end dates.
  • Managing the project plans and schedules, ensuring successful completion within scope, budget, time, and quality parameters.
  • Ensuring that project inter-dependencies within the project and across other departments are considered and are tracked, planned, and executed.
  • Identifying, tracking, and monitoring project work to ensure that progress is within expected guidelines.
  • Identifying and communicating project-related issues/risks that may arise throughout the duration of the project.
  • Developing go-to-green plans to mitigate all risks and issues identified throughout the life of the project.
  • Maintaining effective communication and working relationships with project stakeholders and project team members, communicating project status, progress, and issues within the team as well as to project sponsors and upper management.
  • Ensuring project outcome is in alignment with desired results.
  • Analyzing, documenting, and sharing lessons learned with department leaders, completing project closure process and documentation, adjusting project processes and documentation as required per analysis at project close.
  • Preparing and presenting oral and/or written reports and project presentations.
  • Organizing and conducting project team meetings.
  • Communicating clearly and effectively to all project sponsors, stakeholders, team members, and vendors.
  • Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintains them over time.
  • Encouraging and building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
  • Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the Chief Operating Officer at her discretion from time to time.

What you need

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Business Management.
  • 2+ years of experience in project management.
  • Strong project management skills, including scheduling and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment with often-changing priorities.
