Job Description
KAIROS, Inc is searching for an energetic, experienced, and highly motivated Scheduler Analyst, to join our team. This position will be on site at NIWC Atlantic located in Charleston, SC.

This position will provide scheduler services to a federal government defense acquisition program. The position will produce integrated production program and/or project schedules by linking individual schedules for engineering, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), production, testing and other related efforts.

Primary Duties: 
  • Provide, prepare and update production project schedules in Microsoft Project, track and analyze scheduled versus actual events, and prepare production schedule status reports
  • Produce and maintain project schedules and status reports and make available to clients within 24 hours of request.
  • Prepare and monitor all production schedules in accordance with client’s Work Breakdown Schedule (WBS) guidelines.
  • Incorporate all plans of the production program into integrated project schedules as well as implement and monitor a production control system.
  • Brief status of documentation weekly and provide technical representation at production meetings including semi-annual Program Management Reviews (PMR).
  • Provide documentation preparation support for all program communication areas regarding schedules.

  • Microsoft office suite proficiency, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to work within a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate issues
  • Ability to adapt to evolving technology
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field
  • Seven (7) years of experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis financial/cost analysis or related field.
  • Experience shall include collection, review, and analysis of information to make recommendations to the Government.
  • Possess experience analyzing data, interviewing subjects while observing their operations. Possess experience developing solutions to problems.
  • Possess experience preparing recommendations, understanding the nature of an organization, the relationship it has with others in the Government, and its internal organization and culture.
  • Possess experience preparing and solving mathematical models.
Clearance: 
This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation. This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.
