THE PRODUCTION TEAM
The Production Team is responsible for overseeing Cupertino Electric’s Field workforce, ensuring that all projects are executed with the high standards of safety, productivity, scheduling, quality and cost control. Our team is dedicated to operational excellence, maintaining tight control over project execution from start to finish. We take pride in developing and deploying the best Field Managers in the industry, leaders who drive performance, uphold standards, and deliver successful project outcomes.
 
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Schedule Analyst supports development, analytics and management of Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) schedules for a determined portfolio of work as per existing standards in Microsoft Projects / Primavera P6. This position coordinates with the project stakeholders (Field supervision, Project Management teams, Scheduling Department teams and corporate resources to develop detailed, resource-loaded (Critical Path Methodology) CPM schedules alongside production and is responsible for reporting out on schedule performance analytics, KPI’s and incurred or potential impacts using existing standards set up for schedule management. 
 
  • Interface/maintain communication with project stakeholders (including Job walks, other CEI departments) on all planning and scheduling related items and functions including report requirements, performance updates, impacts, etc. (Corporate Presets & Standards
  • Proficient in Schedule Management concepts & tool application (MS Projects/P6) for project performance and resource forecasting
  • Develop project life cycle (Bid to Close-out) specific scheduling reports implementing scheduling EVM concepts and tools.
  • Represent company in project coordination meetings
BID Phase:
  • Able to read GC schedules to identify electrical activities. Read basic electrical drawings.
Baseline/Planning Phase:
  • Develops resource loaded schedules utilizing durations, logic, and install rate data input from CEI estimates, databases, and other project team resources in Microsoft Projects / Primavera P6
  • Able to generate existing CEI Corporate standards specific reports & identify CEI process    deviation.
Execution/Monitor & Control Phase:
  • Overlay project schedule updates provided by internal & external customers with CEI baseline schedules to identify and report on schedule impacts; update CEI schedules maintaining ‘as-built’ to baseline schedule analytics
  • Analyze and report on schedule performance including earned value management, labor rate tracking, cash flow analysis and projections using existing schedule management standards
  • Monitor, document and provide feedback on production rates to assist in the management and upkeep of estimating data and metric
 
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will be responsible for scheduling concepts and analytics implementation, ensuring seamless project timelines and efficiency. They must be comfortable using scheduling tools such as MS Projects and/or Primavera P6 and possess strong proficiency in data management. A solid understanding of CEI constructability is essential, along with the ability to read and interpret project documents, including GC schedules and drawings. As a team player, they should be forward-thinking, equipped with strong communication and organizational skills, tech-savvy, and committed to a Lean Management mindset. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate a self-driven approach to study and training as needed, ensuring continuous growth and improvement.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
 
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent, Bachelor’s, master’s in construction management. 
Licensure/Certifications: MS Projects, Primavera P6
Experience:
  • Worked in construction industry for minimum of 5 years.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience as a construction scheduler.
