Job Description:
This position is for a Program Office Project Scheduler/Analyst in Chantilly, VA supporting cutting-edge and innovative space programs. Be part of a highly effective and collaborative front office team responsible for delivering expectational support to senior level government staff.
The Project Scheduler/Analyst directly supports the Government program office team conducting project scheduling for satellite and integration programs, conducts schedule analysist and assessments, and provides risk and opportunity assessments. The position is integrated into the Govt-led Program Office team requiring full-time on-site work. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Utilize MS Project to manage projects and develop and socialize schedule reports.
  • Works with Program Managers and Project Teams for new projects to develop and integrate the master schedule from a high level.
  • Conduct assessments of developer schedulers to determine feasibility of the schedulers; identify risks and opportunities associated with the schedule; assess for compliance
  • Coordinate with the government team on the results of the schedule assessments, perform what-if scenarios, etc.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Analyze developer schedules to identify and resolve discrepancies against trending data; integrate schedules to determine dependencies and feasibility.
  • Coordinate with Program Managers to identify and resolve schedule discrepancies.
  • Conduct what-if analysis to project schedule implications of potential changes to staffing, supplier delays, integration timelines, and technical scope changes.
  • Proactively partner with the Government Program Office and support staff Teams to address urgent gaps and resolve challenges that impact the Program and/or portfolio of programs.
  • Partner with the Government Military Leader and Program Managers to strategically and tactically guide nationally-critical satellite programs through acquisition, engineering, and operational trades to achieve on-time launch and on-orbit performance.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors and 10 years of relevant experience; OR Masters and 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with MS Project and Schedule Risk Assessment tools.
  • Familiarity with government acquisition processes and proposal development lifecycles.
  • Experience in project schedule management within a Government Program Office, preferably satellite/space program(s).
  • Ability to communicate with a diverse audience of decision makers with varying levels of programmatic and technical expertise.
  • Effective communication, coordination, and customer engagement skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and team environment with no supervision.
  • TS/SCI with Poly Required.
  • Previous SAP experience desired.
