Job Description:

Parsons is seeking passionate, skilled, and experienced professionals to join a major program and construction management team to support a Department of War customer in successfully delivering on a significant construction program in the National Capital Region (Washington DC)

In our anticipated role, Parsons will provide Owner Agent Construction Management Services including Program Management, Construction Management, Risk Management, Scheduling, Cost Estimating, Progress Reporting, Construction Quality Assurance, Safety, and other supporting services to achieve program success.

Senior Scheduler/Analyst creates, maintains, updates, analyzes, and reports on engineering and construction project schedules on MILCON projects; oversees and manages the efforts of subordinate Project Schedulers.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Works with design engineers and construction engineers to optimize project schedules and mitigate schedule delays. Analyzes schedule related claims and change orders

  • Receives /Reviews construction schedules submitted by Construction Contractor for compliance with SOW requirements

  • Supports the development of an integrated master schedule at the project or program level based on input from multiple sites

  • Provide assistance on any potential modifications and development or review of Time Impact Analysis to the construction contractors baseline schedules

  • Receives and reviews construction schedules submitted by Construction Contractors for compliance with SOW requirements

  • Review contractors' schedules and confirm to the Government that they are technically correct and meet the contract requirements.

  • Review and comment upon CPM-NAS schedules prepared by others and report findings to the Government. Monitor and report in writing upon the progress of construction or service contractors using their CPM-NAS schedules. Recommend to the Government any necessary revisions to these CPM-NAS schedules particularly in those instances where the contractors involved are deviating from the approved schedules or as otherwise appropriate

  • Advise Parsons CM Staff of any discrepancies or issues that are found during this review. Upon receipt of approval of the government, they are also to work with the local construction firms to enhance their scheduling capabilities.

  • Perform Time Impact Analysis on potential modifications and schedule changes and develop summary report.

  • Develop Frag-net schedules related to modifications or other schedule impacts

  • Provides scheduling support to supported Construction Manager, Project Manager, or Program Manager.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or business management

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.

  • Certification as Certified Construction Manager (CCM)

  • Ability to communicate clearly (verbally and written) in English

  • 10 years' experience (>15 years highly desired) with 5 years on projects of similar size and complexity

  • Experience with Project Management Information Systems such as USACE RMS, NAVFAC eCMS, Kahua or Procore.


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Previous scheduling experience on large construction projects

  • Other Relevant certifications (PMP, LEED) or relevant scheduling certifications

  • Previous Management Experience of subordinate schedulers
