THE OPPORTUNITY: Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care with some Psychiatric Medication Management
THE LOCATION: Wake Forest, NC mostly but open to Durham, as needed
Ready for a change? We have an exciting opportunity available for experienced FNPs and PAs who are willing to provide (mostly) primary care with some psychiatric medication management to patients in Wake Forest, North Carolina. In this position, you will be open to seeing patients in Durham, as well, as needed. This could be weekly or for occasional provider coverage. In this position, you will evaluate and treat mostly adults, but about 25% of the patients you will see will be children (5+) and adolescents. Approximately 80% of job responsibilities will be primary care related and approximately 20% psychiatric medication management.
This practice is very stable and well established and the focus is on providing the highest level of quality patient care. The staff is friendly and team oriented to work with and a great mentoring environment is provided.
To qualify for this position, FNPs and PAs must have at least one year of primary care experience.

QUALIFICATIONS
** Unrestricted NP or PA license in North Carolina is required
**Qualified PAs and FNPs must have at least one year of primary care experience as a FNP or PA
**Must be computer savvy
**Willingness to see adults, children and adolescents is required.

THE DETAILS
- 12-15 patients/day maximum
- Mondays-Fridays / 9am-5pm- 4 days seeing patients and 1 admin day
- No nights, no weekends and no holidays, required!
- Mostly adults but some children and adolescents (younger patients are mostly age 5-18 years old)
- Mostly primary care and some psychiatric medication management
- W2 employed position
