Your presentation and communication skills are top-notch, and you have ability to tailor your approach to your customer. You have the ability to prioritize tasks by seeing the big picture and the impact the tasks have on the agency. You are proficient in time management, using down time as an opportunity to fine tune your skills, develop strategies, follow up with leads, help the agency with internal processes, and data entry. You must have a working knowledge of the insurance industry, both P&C and Commercial Lines and be well versed in the industry.
What you’ll be doing:
Our Commercial Account Manager is a direct line of support for a proportional Commercial book of business, ensuring seamless continuity in servicing client’s needs. As a Commercial Account Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the agency to deliver excellent service to our largest clients, develop key relationships learning their business inside and out, and anticipating their insurance needs. Clients will often consider you the point person to provide Certificates of Insurance, endorse their policy, take payments, and servicing renewal packages. With any complex service issue, you will be the change agent to assist the client in organizing a solution.
Requirements:
- 2 years as a licensed Property & Casualty Agent with Commercial Account Management experience.
- Current Property/Casualty license in CO.
- Driven, proactive team member both externally with our clients as well as internally with our team.
- Ability to multi-task and be well-organized, especially when the office is extremely busy.
- Eager to work in a collaborative and fast paced environment..
- Tech savvy – experience working with a CRM, and you know your way around email, Excel, and PDF management (Adobe)
Required education:
- High school or equivalent
- Construction Risk Management is a plus. This may also be offered by the business.
