Inside Sales Representative

Summary/Objective
Inside Sales Representative position serves as the main point of contact for our global customer base. Working with Outside Sales to promote our expansive product offerings to new and existing customers..

Essential Functions

· Build customer relationships and drive to improve customer experience with every interaction.

· Contract review of customer purchase orders and flow downs to ensure customer requirements are met.

· Prepare quotes, process orders, and offer technical solutions to our customer’s needs.

· Work with Engineering, Planning, and Assembly to ensure customer expectations and requirements are continually met.

· Monitor open orders, follow up with internal departments on status and proactively communicate timely, detailed follow ups to the customer.

· Handle prospect activity such as proactive calls, web lead follow-up, and quote disposition analysis.

· Continually build knowledge of new products, services, and sales related items.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, at times can be high.

Travel
Travel less than 5% of the time.

Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED plus 2 years related experience; or four to six years related experience and/or education; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree; Advanced Sales training; Bearing Sales experience; or Inside Sales experience.
