We're seeking someone with outstanding organizational skills, a knack for meeting deadlines, and the ability to proactively track candidates throughout the recruitment process. This includes prioritizing actions to ensure we make the most of placement opportunities. Plus, be ready for some off-hours communication with candidates - we're looking for a recruiter who can maintain swift and considerate correspondence. And don't forget, flexible work schedules are on the table!

THIS IS A FULL-TIME, IN OFFICE POSITION

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Full life cycle recruitment: As a key member of our team, you will take on the responsibility of recruiting cleared professionals in a variety of roles, including Software Development, System Engineering, System Administration, Cloud, DevOps, CNO Analyst/Programming, Database Engineering, and other positions as they become available.

Candidate sourcing and screening: Your role will encompass sourcing, screening, recruiting, and hiring qualified candidates who align with LCAT skill requirements, possess the necessary experience and domain expertise, and meet our rate structure and security clearance prerequisites.

Proactive talent sourcing: You will actively engage in proactively sourcing candidates, identifying and cultivating a talent pipeline for upcoming job openings and contracts. Additionally, you'll build a pipeline for future proposal work.

Introductory calls: Part of your responsibilities will involve conducting introductory calls to introduce candidates to Belay's employment brand. During these calls, you'll discuss candidates' career objectives, aligning them with Belay's current job openings or pipeline positions.

Candidate relationship management: Your role will require proactively monitoring the availability of potential candidates and staying in close contact with them, ensuring that Belay remains at the forefront of their minds.

Job descriptions and applicant tracking: You will be responsible for creating and developing job descriptions, posting job listings, conducting prescreening, and maintaining organization by tracking all applications and talent pools in Belay's applicant tracking system.

Application tracking system (ATS) management: You will play a vital role in providing ongoing management, growth, and development of the application tracking system database (ATS).

Negotiations and offer management: As part of your role, you will negotiate salaries with candidates based on pre-established contract rates. You'll also work closely with the staffing coordinator to provide contingent offers to candidates and guide them through the process.

Candidate support: Your support will extend to assisting candidates in creating effective resume templates that align with the job skills we require. This includes reviewing degrees, certifications, years of experience, and the type of experience to ensure compliance with government requirements.

New hire process oversight: You will oversee the new hire process, maintaining regular communication with the candidate, Staffing Coordinator, HR, and Security.

Employment branding: Your role includes enhancing employment branding on various profiles, such as Indeed, Clearance Jobs, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, and other online social media platforms. You'll also contribute to updates on the company website.

Collaboration with various team members: You will collaborate closely with our HR department, staffing coordinator and hiring managers.

Onboarding support: Finally, you will actively participate in the transition of new hires from the recruitment phase to the onboarding process, coordinating with the relevant internal and external departments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-4 years of successful full life cycle recruiting in a technical cleared environment
  • Experience souring, negotiating salaries and offers for Software, Cloud, System Engineers, System Admins, CNO Analyst/Developers, etc. in classified environments
  • Experience sourcing and building pipelines of technical talent for upcoming programs and proposals
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
  • Bachelor's Degree
