Senior Accountant

Job Summary:
Pritchard Companies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all accounting standards and regulations. 

Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, providing recommendations for improvement
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and adherence to accounting standards and regulations
- Manage and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including bank reconciliations and intercompany transactions
- Coordinate and assist with annual external audits
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and maintain internal controls
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company goals and initiatives
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance and make necessary adjustments to company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the automotive industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
