HR Generalist

The HR Generalist is responsible for assisting the HR Director and other personnel within the human resources team.

• Conduct employee onboarding and work with the training department to organize training & development initiatives
• Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
• Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
• Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
• Undertake tasks around performance management
• Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates, ect.
• Organize employee performance reviews and evaluations
• Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
• Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations
• Participating in developing organizational guidelines and procedures
• Recommending strategies to motivate employees
• Listening to employee complaints and seeking solutions
• Updating records to accommodate new hires and current employees
• Coordinating with other HR professionals
• Other duties as assigned

• Advanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing, communication tools and payroll and human resources software

• Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. Paylocity) will be a plus
