Responsibilities for the Loan Servicing Assistant:
- Respond to incoming calls, emails, and other inquiries from mortgage clientele regarding their accounts, payments, statements, etc.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage products, rates, and trends.
- Assist potential clientele with loan applications and documentation requirements.
- Address any customer complaints or issues and escalate to the appropriate party if needed.
- Coordinate interdepartmentally to provide timely updates to clientele.
- Maintain accurate records on client account information and loan statuses.
- Other projects as assigned.
Qualifications of the Loan Servicing Assistant:
- Previous experience with mortgage processing, housing assistance programs, or related work.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and location housing regulations and policies.
- Strong detail-orientation and follow up skills.
- Proven capability to adeptly juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations in a team environment.
- Spanish speaking, writing, and reading abilities a plus.
Salary:
$22.00 per hour
