Position Summary:

The Medical Assistant works to maintain a clear and smooth workflow in the clinic area ensuring that providers have the necessary supplies on a daily basis. Main responsibility will be assisting physician in exam room, Phlebotomy is a must! In addition, the Medical Assistant will handle phones, manage incoming calls, assist the Lead Medical Assistant when needed/appropriate and maintain the clinic schedule. This is a dual role position to cover phones and assist in clinic when needed. 

Essential Duties:

· Maintain daily clinic schedule

· Stock and restock clinical area

· Prepare vials for blood collection and consent forms

· Processing blood samples for Stem cell treatments (Will train)

· Knee brace processing

Other Duties & Responsibilities

· Manage incoming calls; education on procedures

· Daily tasks as assigned

· Check messages daily

· Obtain pt records when needed

Minimum Qualifications:

· M.A. certification

· Minimum of 5 years M.A. experience

Key Competencies:

· Excellent phlebotomy skills with 5 years of experience

· Experience with assisting during physician procedures

· Experience with patients who have musculoskeletal conditions

· Clear and professional communication style (in person, phone, email, social media, etc.)

· Works well within a team

· Multitask at a high level

· Accountable

· Represents Chicago Arthritis and Regenexx well throughout the community

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $35,000.00 to $45,000.00 /year
