Seeking a Contract and Risk Associate with prior purchasing or contracts experience in an industrial setting.
Responsibilities
- Update contract documents to meet evolving company requirements.
- Prepare, review, and negotiate customer and supplier contracts in addition to resolving issues with customers and suppliers regarding commercial terms, legal terms, and government regulations.
- Identify nonstandard requirements and contractual obligations for customers or vendors and communicate those requirements to the appropriate internal departments.
- Assess the insurance requirements of the company and manage the acquisition and renewal of insurance policies.
- Analyze and relay the legal and business impacts of customer actions, such as mergers & acquisitions, bankruptcies, and policy changes, on company's deliverables.
- Monitor and communicate the legal and business implications of changes in government regulations.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a previous relevant position.
- Maintain high level of accuracy, particularly when dealing with contractual details.
