Activities Assistant

In this role, you will conduct fun and exciting activities with our residents and help them enjoy their day. Assist with the on-site activities and community programs that contribute to optimal qualify of life, active longevity, and resident engagement.

This is a Part-Time, benefit eligible position working the below schedule and as needed for bus outings and to cover vacations. 

Hours:  Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (varies), Thursday evenings 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm and every other weekend from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Activities Assistant responsibilities:

+ Encourage, support, and assist residents with activities.

+ Document activity attendance and degree of involvement.

+ Act as a positive representative at all times.

+ Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff.

+ Perform other related tasks as needed. 

Activities Assistant skills and requirements:

+ Prior healthcare experience preferred, but not required. We'll train you!

+ Ability to display enthusiasm and a positive attitude in promoting activities. 

+ Creative aptitude for training in arts, crafts, and games.

+ Good communication skills.
