Senior ISO Tank Container Inspector

We are seeking a Senior Tank Container Inspector to join our team! This position requires 25-50% paid travel, domestically. The senior inspector will learn to perform visual safety inspections on intermodal transportation containers (ISO Tanks) at various depot locations and help to oversee other inspectors in the area. We need someone with a solid work ethic, who can lead by example. We will provide all relevant on the job training. The candidate must be dependable and able to learn. We are a small professional company in this business for 20+ years and we are accredited by the DOT to do this work. Ideally, this candidate would grow to a management position overseeing all field staff. Experience with ISO Tank Containers, inspection, or maintenance at a depot location preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Assign and delegate work to other field staff
• Perform thorough examinations of equipment in-person
• Report findings and take photos
• Follow quality control operating procedures
• Follow safety procedures as set forth by each depot location
• Participate in routine visual inspections of material transportation equipment
• Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with customers

• Ability to travel domestically
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
