Job description

Summary of Position

This position is responsible for the construction, repair, and maintenance of Tank Trailers. Responsibilities include preparation of tank surfaces for blasting, repair & rebuilding of valves and components, installation of assembled substructures. Inspection and cleaning of inner tank surfaces, Brake and Air system inspections and repairs, assisting with testing and inspections of tanks and chassis. All tasks must be accomplished using safe and efficient techniques which prevent damage to parts or fellow workers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certification from a two-year college or technical school preferred
  • One-year related experience and/or training a must
  • Ability to lift heavy items up to 60 pounds consistently required
  • Ability to identify and measure material
  • Ability to produce quality products consistently
  • Ability to work safely and follow safety regulations
  • Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form
  • Must be reliable with a strong work ethic

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or GED.
