Maintenance Assistant/ Courier

Role: This position provides general maintenance and courier services to the Credit Union's facilities as assigned by supervisor.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:- Provide internal and external courier services for the credit union.
- Perform routine corrective maintenance (repair/replace lighting fixtures, make minor cosmetic updates and
improvements)
- Maintain building/branch external appearance (i.e., window cleaning, debris removal and public access areas)Completes assignments timely and updates maintenance system logs appropriately.Attends training sessions required by the supervisor.Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Performance Measurements:1.To ensure a safe working environment maintained for all workers and members.2.To complete all daily tasks in a prompt and efficient manner.3.To maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness.

Knowledge and Skills:ExperienceOne year to three years of similar or related experience.EducationA high school education or GED.Interpersonal SkillsWork involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.Other SkillsGeneral maintenance experience is desired.
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills are necessary.
Must have valid drivers license and clean driving recordPhysical RequirementsMust be able to lift and carry items up to 30 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Repetitive walking, standing, sitting/driving, bending and kneeling required.
