- Job Title: Senior Dev Operations Engineer - Site Reliability Engineer - Job ID: CR-260 - Location: Pleasanton - CA - Remote with a requirement to be within driving distance - Duration: Over 1 year - Role: Lead on DevOps team responsible for system administration areas in AWS cloud environments and on-premise environments - Key Responsibilities: Implementing and maintaining production and pre-production environments, improving software development processes, automating repetitive work, providing technical guidance to internal engineering peers, server maintenance, supporting developers with change requests, uptime, and performance-related issues, etc. - Technical Skills Required: AWS Cloud management, AWS Certified DevOps and/or Solution Architect certification, experience with AWS services including Kafka, ECS, EKS, experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) CDK or Terraform, knowledge of Linux systems, Python scripting, experience with system automation and configuration management tools including Ansible, understanding of SQL, PL/SQL, and T-SQL commands, etc. - Qualifications: BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience - Deliverables: Monitoring sites, environments, and software to achieve 99.9% uptime, measurement, optimization, and tuning of system performance, automating system and application monitoring, conducting post-incident reviews and Root Cause Analysis, implementing production monitoring systems, security assessments and addressing vulnerabilities, design and deploy AWS solutions, server maintenance, etc.
