Seeking a skilled, motivated and experienced Commercial Property Accountant for Established firm experiencing exciting and rapid growth. This role is responsible for processing daily and month-end transactions, maintain balance sheet schedules, review and reconcile property taxes and other liabilities. You will also oversee cash deposits and review profit and loss statements, deliver reports to leadership and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Management of all Corporate Accounting functions
• Oversee cash deposits and review profit and loss statements, delivering reports on all items to Executive Management and key stakeholders
• Update, review and prepare AP/AR reports and submit to executive management
• Prepare and submit client quotes, order entry and vendor purchasing orders
• Reconcile financial accounts inclusive of incoming and outgoing funds
• Responsible for management of aging reports and perform collection of overdue accounts
• Calculate, review and submit sales commission payments
• Review corporate income and expenditure data and prepare corporate financial reports
• Compile, review and maintain corporate income and expenditure accounts
• Responsible for month-end close
• Reconcile corporate bank accounts and GL ledgers
• Compile, prepare and review analysis of employee expenditure accounts
• Review, file and remit all corporate tax payments and all financial obligations
• Responsible for maintenance of company inventory management

Requirements

• BS degree in Accounting, Finance or related
• Min 3-5 years of Accounting experience
• Experience within the construction and/or property management industries is a MUST
• Stellar communication and interpersonal skills and work well in team environment
• Excellent organizational, analytical communication and problem solving skills
• Exceptional customer service skills regarding vendor and tenant contact
• Must have very strong MS Excel and ERP skills
• Proficiency with Yardi accounting software required
