Construction Field Service Manager (Window and Door)

Job Summary:

Service of Windows & Doors for residential new construction. Hands on warehouse, installation and service operations. Promote and enforce safety processes and procedures to prevent any or all potential injuries related to the jobs in warehouse and delivery, service and installation. Hands on all local schedules and make the final call on deployment of local resources, people, or equipment. Help maintain all customer relations with Account/Warehouse manager. Hands on warehouse, delivery operations, and personnel to protect the assets (inventory and equipment). Strong ability in project and construction management including planning, scheduling, budgeting, read and interpret blueprints or specifications of jobs. Interpret measurements using levels, rulers and other measuring tools.

General Accountabilities

· Ability to set and install windows and doors

· Ensure all material for job is loaded properly on truck

· Person in charge to direct crews on jobsite and will include the hiring, firing, reviews, and discipline of all personnel.

· Ensure safety of all crew and utilizing PPE on jobsite

· Obtain and understand job schedule and complete necessary paperwork at end of day/job and turn in to office.

· Ensure all personnel have properly clocked in and clocked out every day

· Control fuel cards for trucks, management of warehouse space and other needed equipment. Monthly inventory counts and reports.

· Be face of BWI on jobsite with Field managers and construction managers.

· Treat all customer personnel and BWI personnel with utmost respect.

· Ensure quality of installation of each job meets BWI standard before leaving job site

· Ensure all unused material return to warehouse accordingly and documented on paperwork if not installed at initial jobsite visit

· Ensure jobsite is adequately cleaned up and no debris or trash is left behind

· Ensure no residue from caulk or other material damages or is left on any material or window

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
