Role Summary: Our client is seeking a seasoned Outside Sales Representative to cover the Southwest FL Coast area, specifically Tampa. The ideal candidate will possess strong hose and fittings experience and demonstrate the ability to fulfill customer orders efficiently. They will be responsible for managing a territory of customers and prospects, building strong relationships to become a trusted supplier for their hose and fitting needs.
 

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by assessing needs, processing orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining gross profit margins.
• Develop new prospects and nurture existing customer relationships to drive sales growth.
• Utilize industry knowledge and expertise to effectively communicate product benefits and solutions to customers.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to establish credibility quickly and collaborate effectively with internal teams.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of business development/sales experience, preferably in the hose or construction industry.
• Working knowledge of relevant hose applications, industries, and technologies.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on dynamic one-on-one communication.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong prioritization and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in tech and computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.

Location: Southwest Florida Coast Territory

Compensation - $50k - $70k base, depending on experience plus commissions, monthly car allowance, cell phone, laptop and a strong benefits package.
