Job Description

Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator will be a key partner in executing HFMA’s marketing tactics. This individual will work collaboratively with the Senior Marketing Manager, other marketing team members, and individuals across HFMA to execute campaigns designed to raise awareness, acquire leads, and generate revenue.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented and a task master with the ability to prioritize tasks when working on several projects at once. This person is passionate about learning the ins-and-outs of successful marketing campaigns and is interested in learning about HFMA’s professional audience of healthcare leaders.

Responsibilities

Support the execution, monitoring, and tracking of HFMA’s marketing campaigns

  • Lead tactical implementation including traditional and digital channels, from scheduling and coordination through execution
  • Develop benefit-driven copy for marketing campaigns that speak to HFMA’s audiences
  • Work closely with members of the Creative team to match visuals with copy and project manage tactics through the creative process
  • Work with Marketing Analyst to ensure tracking for marketing tactics is created, implemented, analyzed, and reported. Work with Analyst to implement data-driven recommendations.
  • Keep marketing project plans and timelines organized and regularly updated
  • Review marketing content for accuracy and alignment to the HFMA brand and style guide
  • Monitor and process project expenses to assure budget compliance and reconcile financials monthly

Support marketing-specific administrative needs

  • Manage internal logs tracking organization-wide email deployments and cross-marketing opportunities
  • Create and organize marketing project folders on the company network
  • Assist with campaign-related questions and address stakeholder inquiries related to campaigns
  • Collaborate with team members on cross training (including the development of job aids), shared skill building, and process improvement recommendations.

Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience executing marketing campaigns, including experience with traditional, digital, and social media marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field preferred
  • Familiarity with marketing automation software tools (Adobe Campaign Standard, ActiveCampaign, etc.)
  • Experience with digital marketing campaigns (SEM, retargeting, social, etc.)
  • Experience with HTML and CSS
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with Salesforce
  • Experience with Monday.com or similar project management software
  • Knowledge of healthcare preferred

Key Relationships

  • Participate in assigned cross-functional collaborative teams
  • Closely collaborate with the Marketing Analyst to develop success measurements
  • Closely collaborate with the creative services team to develop effective marketing collateral
  • Coordinate with SMEs to review campaign collateral, as needed
  • This position reports to the Senior Marketing Manager
