Accounting Consultant - Higher Education

We currently have immediate remote or hybrid openings at the Senior Associate and Manager levels in our industry specific consulting practice of Higher Education.

About the Job: As a valued member of our team, you will have the chance to:

• Work together in a team to offer consulting services tailored to the unique needs of higher education institutions.

• Plan and oversee day-to-day consulting tasks, dealing with the details of educational finances and regulations.

• Be proactive in addressing client concerns, using your knowledge of higher education finance to build strong relationships and solve problems effectively.

• Stick to strict professional standards and industry rules to ensure accuracy and following the law in every consulting job for higher education.

• Foster the growth and proficiency of emerging team members, sharing specialized insights and knowledge relevant to consulting in higher education settings.

What We Are Looking For: We are seeking candidates who possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; Master's degree is preferred.
• CPA preferred
• 3-7 years of relevant experience in public accounting and/or higher education
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development to stay ahead of changes in accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and industry trends

The compensation for this role varies based on experience and falls within the range of $70,000 to $100,000. These salary ranges are for applicants based in Western New York. Consideration will be given to applicants outside of our geographic area with appropriate ranges provided, based on location.
