Environmental/Safety Manager

Seeking an experienced Environmental/Safety Manager to ensure compliance with EPA and OSHA regulations in a large-scale dormitory management services contract.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and implement environmental and safety programs in compliance with EPA and OSHA regulations.

- Complete AHERA Asbestos Inspector training and Hazardous Waste Site Operation training within 6 months of acceptance of position.

Requirements:

- 5 years of recent (within the past 10 years) responsible experience in field management of EPA and OSHA regulations.

- Demonstrated skills and knowledge in implementing environmental/safety programs.

- Proficiency in oral and written communications in English.

- Basic computer skills to include the ability to input data into the system and generate various reports and correspondence as required.

-Previous FLETC experience Preferred.

Position Summary

Ideal candidate will be local to FLETC in Charleston, SC or willing to relocate. Position requires passing background check to access government facilities.
