Executive Director - Senior Living Facility (Denver, Colorado)
Overview: As the Executive Director of our esteemed senior living facility located in Denver, Colorado, you will be at the forefront of providing exceptional care, support, and services to our valued senior residents. Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
Oversee all aspects of the senior living facility, including operations, staff management, and resident services.
Provide strategic direction and effective leadership to create a positive and nurturing environment for residents and staff.
Collaborate with department heads to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of goals.
Foster a strong team culture that values respect, communication, and professional growth.
Resident Care and Experience:
Ensure the delivery of high-quality care and personalized services that meet the unique needs of each resident.
Maintain a warm, welcoming, and safe environment where seniors can thrive and maintain their independence.
Monitor resident satisfaction through regular feedback, surveys, and active engagement to address any concerns promptly.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring financial sustainability and prudent resource allocation.
Implement cost-effective strategies without compromising the quality of care and services provided.
Analyze financial data and key performance indicators to make informed decisions that contribute to the facility's success.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure the senior living facility complies with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as industry standards and best practices.
Keep abreast of changes in senior care regulations and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
Marketing and Community Engagement:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective marketing strategies to attract and retain residents.
Engage with residents' families, the local community, and relevant organizations to promote the facility and build positive relationships.
Health and Safety:
Prioritize the health and safety of residents and staff by enforcing strict adherence to safety protocols and infection control measures.
Ensure emergency preparedness plans are in place and well-communicated to all stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
At least 5 years of progressive leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, or a related healthcare setting.
Strong understanding of senior care regulations and compliance requirements.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and staff.
Demonstrated track record in financial management and budgeting.
Proven experience in creating a positive and inclusive work culture.
Passion for serving the senior community and improving their quality of life.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and make critical decisions under pressure.
