Our client, a Japanese Energy company, is seeking a Commercial Analyst to join their Renewable Energy Division in the Houston area.
Title: Commercial Analyst
Industry: Renewable Energy
Type: Full Time Direct Hire
Exempt Location: Houston TX
Salary: $82K-$90K
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience with business finance
- 3+ years of Financial modeling experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or statistics are highly preferred
- FMVA certification preferred
- Tax equity arrangement experience renewable energy project experience
- Strong fluency with excel formulas and functions
- Corporate PPA experience preferred
JOB DUTIES:
- Manage and update (support valuation, planning and forecasting) financial model collaborating with related parties
- Analyze market pricing and congestion forecasts
- Prepare finance for projects and maintain communication with finance lenders
- Prepare PPA proposals and PPA contracts
- Support transaction of equity sell down of projects if necessary
