The candidate will have the opportunity to learn a trade in the custom automotive/hot rod upholstery industry with our supervisor, who has over 35 years experience, and has been featured in many hot rod magazines and other publications.

We are currently seeking an experienced upholstery technician with 1 or more years carpet and vinyl flooring installation experience though we are willing to train the right candidate. Sewing experience is a plus. You must have interior boat restoration experience of some sort to apply, even if it is at home experience.

Listed below are the specific responsibilities the RV technician will ultimately possess.

Upholstery Technician Responsibilities

• Disassembly and reassembly of vehicles, and or boats to be upholstered
• Tracing patterns and cutting templates to be sewn
• Installtion of carpet and or vinyl flooring in a boat
• Sewing templates with the direction of the shop supervisor

Upholstery Technician Qualifications

• Upholstery technician must have a general understanding sewing machines and upholstery processes.
• A clean driving record
• A strong attention to detail and great work ethic
• The ability to work independently from others and in a team environment
• The ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments

Job Type - Full Time

Starting pay range of $15.00 - $25.00 per hour based solely on experience in the upholstery field

Required experience and other qualifications

• 1 or more years carpet and or vinyl flooring installation experience required, not specifically professionally, can be experience at home with sewing machine.
• Valid drivers license
