JOB SUMMARY:
The Mechanical Integrator is an essential team member for our heavy equipment assembling process. This role will work on building the encasements that hold large backup power generators that allow our clients to keep their business functioning in a power outage. We receive our diesel turbine generators, and build custom, fully integrated housing units engineered from their specific needs. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for all generator and exhaust installation and preparation.
  • Install generator and fuel related components such as air tubes, air breathers/heat shields, shunt lines, fuel polisher, dosing system, urea supply system, urea tank, urea tank insulation.
  • Install CCV- crank case ventilation lines.
  • Install fuel return lines.
  • Install drain line fittings for oil and coolant.
  • Drain Lines for oil/water/air compressor.
  • Bolt down housing unit onto the tank.
  • Bolt Generator to isolators.
  • Rig items for lifting.
  • Assemble and install exhaust components.
  • Install isolators and engine rails and battery racks, air compressors, and air dryers.
  • Collaboration with others when adjustments to installation or preparation plans are needed.
  • Prepare shackles on the house for lifting with chains or straps.
  • Operate lifts for access to roofs, with harnesses.
  • Helping load completed units on transport trucks using correct rigging and choke. on chains.
  • Communication with Crane Operator, Lead and teammates at all times.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years' experience in the field of Mechanical Integration or similar work
  • Familiar with reading blueprints.
  • Experience driving a forklift.
  • Familiar with welding and plumbing
  • Good math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
  • Proven mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong attention to detail with an even stronger work ethic.
  • Effective time management skills who can also adapt to quickly changing priorities.
  • Must wear PPE such as protective eyewear, hearing protection, etc.
  • Have reliable attendance, be respectful and responsible at work.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Strong communication skills and awareness of others in movement
  • Ability to work under pressure and keep calm.
  • Able to work in a team environment and independently.
  • Quickly and accurately analyze and solve technical problems.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when moving materials.
  • Ability to work in all-weather conditions.
  • Ability to maintain a safe perimeter and signal crane operator.
  • Perform work tasks with little or no supervision.

Pay rate is $18-$22 based on experience.
