Operations Analyst

Position Title: Operations Analyst

Reports to: Director, Operations

Department: Operations

Location: NIW – A Simplicity Company, 5830 Granite Parkway, Suite 700, Plano, TX 75024; in-office position

Classification: Full-time; Exempt

Summary / Job Objective: The Operation Analyst will be responsible for the annual policy review/renewal process, including creating, analyzing, and reviewing life insurance illustrations, as well as providing additional support to the Operations team. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills as well as life insurance experience. Familiarity with policy illustrations and Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills are a must.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Run and create illustrations for NIW products

· Ownership of annual policy review process

· Actively follow up with agents, clients and carriers to ensure cases stay on track

· Data entry for large datasets

· Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers

· Maintain complete, detailed and accurate records for all cases

· Process policy surrenders as needed, including evaluation of policy cash value

· Work independently and in collaboration with Senior Financial Analyst and Director of Financing to review trend analysis, annual reporting and ad hoc reporting

· Additional duties as needed

Qualifications:

· 2+ years life Insurance experience with a life carrier required (case management, policy administration, customer service, or underwriting)

· Proficient with technology / strong computer skills – specifically Microsoft Excel

· Experience with financial reporting

· Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required

· Life Insurance license is a plus

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation (based on experience)

• Annual Salary: $60,000 - $70,000
• This is an exempt position
• Annual performance bonus potential
